There are many different ways to look at the new digital age, as there are both advantages and disadvantages of being in a digital world. Digitalization has made consistency and portability a whole new world, as we can transmit and copy things with ease while also being perfectly the same when transmitted. By simplifying communication into manageable symbols, there is less worry of noise changing a message when copied or transmitted. These communications can be instantly transmitted worldwide, whereas before it could take days or weeks to communicate the same message across the world. However, the disadvantages are still prominent as these transmissions can be intercepted or faked with little way of telling. The main cost is also the range at which pictures and frequencies are heard or seen, as they don’t have the true tone that items may have.
