Natural objects tend to be analog due to their continuity and texture embedded in the physical form; however, digital representations do not have the same when they are converted. To generalize them, they have to strip away the texture and physicality that nature has. This gives the items perfect reproducibility for Easy distribution and the ability to analyze or modify them with a computer. A digital image can be shared easily so like a digital song; however, a physical song or image, such as a painting or record, can take much more time to share and is much harder to reproduce without errors. No matter what physicality you are transferring to digital, inevitably, you’re going to lose the uniqueness of an item, such as a painting or some of the tones of somebody talking. This is why in person somebody can sound different than they do over the phone. Digital allows us to scale and access information at a much easier cost than physical, which can be at a much higher cost.
